Merry Christmas

We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Holiday.   We started Christmas Eve day by going to a friends open house party.   The party was so fun and there daughter who is in Joshua's class at school changed their garage into a Art museum and donation area for warm clothes and stuff for a charity.   She even was selling popcorn and hot chocolate.   Then we were off to church for a early Christmas Eve service which was wonderful.   We then picked up my Aunt Dede and headed back to our house for some fun.  We enjoyed some tamales and beans for dinner followed by watching The Polar Express with hot chocolate (which was a homemade mix made by Aunt Dede).   When then took to the streets and drove around looking at all the wonderful Christmas lights around town.   Christmas morning was so much fun.  The boys did not get up too early this year.  It was around 6am.   They were all so thrilled that Santa had come and loved all of their gifts.   We are so blessed.

Special Dinner for Joshua

Joshua got to go out on a date with mom for a special dinner.   Joshua was working really hard at meeting a reading goal at school.  During a conversation we were having he mentioned he would like a lobster dinner.   I proposed that if he met his reading goal he could get that lobster dinner.   He stepped up and met his goal and even went over it.   He and I went to Red Lobster for dinner.  I am not a fish eater so I had a yummy steak dinner.  Joshua had a huge dinner and I thought we would for sure have left overs.  He had about 16 shrimp and a lobster tail.   He ate it all and loved it!   We are so proud of all the hard work he has done and were so happy to reward him with this special dinner.   Way to go Joshua!

Look at all that food!

Meet and Greet with JJ Abrams

We had the privilege to be invited to a event at Baron's work where military members were thanked by JJ. Abrams and the production company Bad Robot and received a gift.   I was super excited about this because JJ Abrams was the creator of the show LOST which I absolutely loved.  This was a fun event and the gift was great.   We received a nice gift box with stuff to make Bad Robot pancakes.

Sea World

We are off to another theme park in the area.  This time it is Sea World San Diego.   It was a chilly day but we were prepared with warm clothing.   We all had a great time.   The big boys and Mom and Dad really loved the Manta roller coaster.   The little boys loved the shows and the manta ray feeding area.   Andrew was brave enough to feed the manta rays.   Our family favorite was the Christmas Tails show with all the dogs and cats.   What a fun day.
