Flying L Ranch water park

We spent the day with Granny and Pappy and the Empson family at the Flying L Ranch water park.   What a great fun day!  All the kids really enjoyed all the attractions.  All the adults really enjoyed the park too.  At the end of the day we all had some sunburns and were very tired out!  Poor Pappy got the worst sunburn on his legs.

Family Picnic and Canoeing

We had a wonderful family picnic today.   Thank you to Granny for planning this wonderful event so we could visit with so many family members.   Granny and Pappy's wonderful neighbors came too and brought their canoes so that we could try out canoeing on the river.  The kids loved this!  The food was wonderful and it was so great just to visit with everyone!

A visit to The Alamo

We decided to add a little sight seeing history to our trip by visiting The Alamo.  It had been sometime since we had been there and we were pretty sure the boys have never been there.  We had a lovely time but it was super hot.  We got a great family photo in the gardens thanks to Granny.

We have arrived in Texas!

After a few days of driving we have arrived at our final destination for a week or so stay.  Pipe Creek and San Antonio Texas.  We are all so excited to see Granny and Pappy and the Empson's.   The boys loved being at a place with so much space to explore.  One of our favorite things was watching for deer.  Granny and Pappy see them so often that they have named them and some deer know them so well that they will feed from their hands.  The boys loved seeing there cousins.  All the boys got to learn about shooting a BB gun thought I did not get a picture of Andrew.   It is super great to be here!
