School Preformances

Joshua and Noah both have recently had school programs that we all attended.  Kindergarten had a snowman night.  All the kindergarten classes sang winter/snowman themed songs.  It was so cute.  Then each class had crafts and treats for the kids to enjoy after the performance .  Third grade had a evening of singing called "Interplanetary Jammin".  Both boys really enjoyed being involved in these programs.   We all had so much fun at these events.

Hat Night

Ready to start baseball!  This league starts things off with a fun "Hat Night".   The boys find out there teams by getting to go up on stage and given there hats from the coach.   Andrew and Joshua are playing AA baseball for the Nationals.  Noah will be playing Tball for the Giants.   We had a great time at Hat Night and are so excited to start baseball.

Temecula Duck Pond

The nice weather continued so we finally went to check out the Temecula Duck pond.   We had a lot of bread to feed the ducks.   All the boys loved feeding them.  We had a nice walk around the pond.  After the duck pond we went to Yogurt Island for a treat.

Disneyland

Since the weather was going to be so nice we thought another trip to Disneyland was in order.  This time we went to the Disneyland side.   The weather was so nice Daddy and Joshua even wore shorts.   We planned to do a few things the kids have been asking to try.  They got to do Tarzan's tree house and Pirate Island which both are not really rides but area's to explore.   Andrew and Joshua tried out the Tea Cups and we all did Mr. Toad's wild ride.   We also checked out the Candy Palace and got some treats. We had a really great day at Disney, of course!

Treats

For my birthday we got some treats from a nearby bakery.  The bakery is called Truly, Madly, Sweetly.   Andrew and Joshua picked out cupcakes and the rest of us got mini cheesecakes.   They were all very yummy.

Happy Birthday Heidi

For my birthday we decided to celebrate at Disneyland for the day.   Disney will give you a button that says it is your birthday and then most of the cast members (people who work at Disney) will wish you Happy Birthday when they interact with you.   We went to the California Adventure side of Disneyland.   We had a great day and went on all our favorite rides.   We met my cousin Ron for a birthday dinner over at Tortilla Joe's located at Downtown Disney.   This was a yummy and fun dinner.  The boys got fun balloon creations and my cousin also got me a fun balloon birthday crown.   What a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday.  Truly you are never too old to enjoy Disneyland!

Disneyland Christmas Parade

What a great way to start the new year, by meeting the Scott girls and my sister and her friend with her two kids at Disneyland for the day.   We had a great day there.  We started the day with 9 kids and 3 adults.   We decided to catch the Christmas parade in the evening.   After the parade we met my cousin Ron for some dinner  in the park.  We had plans to stay for fireworks but decided we were too tired so we headed home.  My sister, Nicole, and her girls came to stay at our for a few days after Disneyland.  We enjoyed their visit except that I was a bit sick with a nasty cold and was very thankful for my sister's help this week.
