First Flag Football Game for Joshua

Joshua is trying out a new sport this season.  He is playing Flag Football.  He is so excited to be playing.  Baron has also signed on to be the assistant coach for his team.   His first game was very exciting to watch.  We are all looking forward to a great season!

Andrew is in band!!!!

Andrew started out the school year in chorus but quickly decided it was not for him.  He talked with other students and found out he could get into band.   He went to the counselor and asked about making the change.  Thankfully a change could be made.   It took about a week for things to get changed.  He choose to play the clarinet.  He is so excited to be in this class.  We are super proud of him for doing the work himself to make this change happen.

Swim Lessons #2

Noah and Seth completed their second round of swim lessons this summer!  Both boys have improved so much this summer.  So proud of them.  Noah started out being scared to swim without a life jacket and now has the confidence to swim without one.   Seth is a fish and now has gotten some skills to start learning to swim.   Awesome Job Noah and Seth

Road Trip home fun

With the end of our visit to San Antonio we had a long drive ahead.  For the trip home we are trying to do it in two days rather than three.  We picked up a few car games for the boys to play in the car.  They all loved them and it kept them quite busy on our long drive.

Noah got a pinball game

Seth got a magnet game which puts "hair" on this funny guy

Andrew got magnetic chess

Joshua got a peg game

Baron really liked that at this stop there was a jungle gym labeled "Marine Substation"

July 4th with Cousins

We spent July 4th and our final day in Texas at Granny and Pappy's house (Baron's parents) with the Empson family (Baron's sister) join us too.   We had a fun dinner of burgers and hot dogs.  We also had some cupcakes and brownies for desert.   Fireworks are legal in Texas so we all had a huge assortment to set off.  The kids with the assistance of Uncle David and Pappy all got a turn lighting some!  It was a fun time spent with family and a great ending to a great visit.  Love to all and we miss you all ready!

Fun times in Texas

We had many fun filled days in San Antonio visiting family.  We spent one afternoon at the community pool the Empson's belong too.  We went to a family cook out at Baron's cousin Tracye's house.  Baron and I got to go out on a date night and saw fireworks over the mall we were at.   Loved all the family time we got on this trip!
