Snow and New Years Eve fun

2014 went out with a bang.   Temecula  got snow on Dec 31st.  We had been hearing that there might be snow in the forecast, but we really did not believe it would happen.  Baron was actually working overnight at the base.  When the kids and I went to bed I had little faith there would be snow on the ground.  Well, I was very wrong.  There was a lot of snow on the ground!  The boys and I quickly found the box with snow clothes in it and got them all ready to to go.  It was so beautiful.  We were all so excited to see it.  Baron got home and was excited to see it also.   The boys and I took a walk over to the golf course and played with lots of other family out there.  People were even trying to sled  with just about anything that was slick and flat.   What a wonderful end to 2014

Ready to ring in 2015.  We let the boys stay up as late as they could.  We all enjoyed making ice cream sundaes which is our families New Years Eve tradition.   By Midnight Noah and Seth and were asleep in there beds.  Josh had just fallen asleep on the couch around 11:30 but woke up to bang pans and do noise makers.   The next day we had a wonderful dinner that Baron made with traditional black eye peas.
