We went to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure over the President's holiday weekend. We had not been to Disneyland in about a year. We were super excited to be going. It was also Valentines weekend so we all wore red for that day. We really want to see the special Frozen activities going on at the park. We were also super excited that this time Seth was 40 inch tall and could ride on most rides! First time on many of the rides as a whole family. Also Noah would be tall enough to ride the big roller coaster California Screamin at Disney's California Adventure. It is going to be a great trip!
We went to Disney's California Adventure the first day. We saw many many characters in the park. We went to the snow in Arendelle from the movie Frozen and met Olaf the fun snow man. We also went to the Frozen sing a long show and we all loved singing the songs from the movie! Joshua was very excited about all the characters and got a autograph book and began seeking out the characters! He even got some great hugs from the Princesses and a Queen! Seth rode Tower of Terror which is a huge drop ride and he loved it! Next we hit the Radiator Springs (Car's) it would be the first time we all got to ride together. This is one of the best rides at Disney and we all loved it! Noah got to ride the big roller coaster and absolutely loved it! We did go and take a break and nap at our hotel in the afternoon. We stayed at the park until closing!
Our Second day we went to Disneyland. We wanted to take Seth on three rides he had never been on today. We took him on Thunder Mountain, Star Tours, and Space Mountain. We all loved it. This day was also Grandma Kathy's birthday so we celebrated her by eating at the Mexican restaurant which is the location of the place she worked at in Disneyland! We had a wonderful day seeing many characters and riding many rides.
Our last day was spent between both parks. We also got to meet up with Uncle Ron for dinner at "bucket of meat" which is really a yummy BBQ place inside Disneyland. We hit a few rides with Uncle Ron and then it was time to drive home.
We had a absolutely fabulous time at Disneyland and California Adventure!
