Sandia Peak Tramway

On this day we decided to take the kids on the Sandia Tramway to see the city of Albuquerque from the Sandia Peak and maybe even hike around to top of the mountain.  The weather had other plans!  When we got there we did see the rain clouds coming in but thought we would be all right.   At the bottom no rain.  Our ride to the peak was great.  All the kids really enjoyed it.   Once at the top we got a better look at the clouds but could still see the city.  We started out on a little hike.  Once we got off the paved path it started to sprinkle a bit.  Once we got a few more feet it started to pour rain!!!!   We tried to get cover in the restaurant but it was so crowded and we had such a large group we just headed for the tram back down.  What a difference our trip down was.  The clouds had moved in quick and we could not see anything on the way down.   Since we did not get a hike in we took all the kids to Chic-Fil-A for lunch and to play in the play area there.  What a wet adventure we had!
This is in the parking lot on arrival. Baron and I with Noah, Seth, Keira, Andrew, Leah, and Joshua
